CORE supports a capacity-building workshop on solar thermal curricula in West Africa

The International Network of Solar Technology and Application Resource Centres (STAR C), in partnership with the CORE Initiative, conducted a training on regional solar energy qualification frameworks and curricula on 18 April 2024 for selected training and examination centres in the ECOWAS region.

51 attendees discussed the solar thermal curriculum, aiming for a unified approach to solar energy education throughout the region. They benefited from the valuable contributions of Engreen, with the support of a local expert from 2iE-Institut International d’Ingénierie de l’Eau et de l’Environnement.

By equipping these lecturers with the necessary expertise, CORE aims to contribute to the widespread adoption and implementation of renewable energy technologies in the ECOWAS Region.
